OUR MISSION

Our mission at Loving and Leading Others is to empower HIV positive women in Ethiopia by providing them with the necessary support and resources to lead fulfilling lives. We are committed to restoring their dignity, inspiring hope, and creating opportunities for them to thrive despite the challenges they face. Through our history of impactful initiatives, we have witnessed the transformation and resilience of these women, and we continue to be driven by the belief that every woman deserves a chance to live a life of purpose and fulfillment.

OUR VISION

A community where women and children no longer view themselves as victims of their past, poverty, social identity, and mental/physical abuse, but flourishing in God’s TRUTH.

OUR STORY

Born out of personal experience (finding identity), Loving and Leading Others (L&LO) saw the need to restore identity and inspire opportunities for women, especially women who are living under the shadow of death - HIV+. By using biblical and leadership principles, we focus on loving others and teaching social identity: given, chosen, and core values. When people know they are unconditionally loved and significant, that is the beginning of authentic transformation – self-image changes, character develops, compassion for others emerges, and opportunity arises.
